As a volunteer

Involving young people in caring for the vulnerable groups in society. Working together towards making the world more just, meeting one another and learning from each other. Those are the objectives of the Togetthere Volunteer program.

Many young people find these things appealing. They would like to work to help others, whether in the Netherlands or beyond. Through their volunteer work, the youngsters develop in the social, personal, societal and spiritual sense. It is an unforgettable experience for them.

 

Conversely, ICCO & Kerk in Actie have countless partner organizations that have a lot of work to do, but that do not always have the means to engage professional employees to do it. A full-time Togetthere volunteer can be just what they need. The volunteer may give extra personal attention to the target group, provide support in concrete activities and help develop new ones.

 

The Volunteer program comprises three parts: Volunteers South, Volunteers Netherlands and Volunteers Roma-Gadge.
